The 22 Laws
of Growth & Freedom
Twenty-two patterns, found in the lives of people who had to earn their ground. Read them slowly. Come back to one.
A man does not rise in one heroic moment. He rises by returning to the work after comfort, failure, resentment, fear, and distraction have all invited him to stop.
One slow, painful brick at a time.
In life, everything meaningful is earned.
Rise Strong. Nothing’s Given.
A new story every week.
The RSNG app
RSNG, in your pocket. Coming soon.
Coming soon for Android and iPhone. Everything on the site, and two things only the app can do.

Only in the app
The Bell
A bell at random moments through your day. It carries your own words, or one of the 22 Laws you choose. Set your hours, your days and how often it rings. Mute it for an hour when you need quiet.
Stop. Breathe. Come back to what you are building.

Only in the app
Law of the day
A widget for your home screen: one of the 22 Laws, new each morning, the same for every reader. Tap it to read the law.
- Reads offline. Stories you have opened stay with you.
- Opens rsng.com links straight in the app.
- Long-press the icon for the laws, the stories, the practices or the Bell.
One email, when it lands.
We will announce the app, on Android and iPhone, in the Sunday email. Join, and the first story arrives this Sunday too.
Privacy
What we keep, and why.
As little as we can. No ads, no selling, no accounts.

Who we are
RSNG is published by RSNG Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (number 10826141), at Old Linen Court, 83-85 Shambles Street, Barnsley, S70 2SB. We are responsible for the personal information described here, for this website and for the RSNG app for Android.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the list. We use it to send the Sunday story and nothing else. The welcome email and every newsletter have a link that takes you off the list at once.
- How the site is used, only if you say yes. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics counts which pages are read, how people arrive, and whether they sign up or search. If you say no, nothing is loaded and nothing is counted. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page.
- Ordinary server logs. Like any website, our hosting records the requests made to it (address, time, browser), to keep the site running and secure.
What stays on your device
Your choice about analytics cookies, light or dark mode, and the laws you have marked as read are saved in your browser, not sent to us. So that the site and the app work without a connection, your browser also keeps copies of the pages, stories and photos you have opened. Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it.
Who helps us
- Resend stores the email list and sends our emails.
- Google Analytics (Google) measures use of the site, only with your consent. We don’t use it for advertising: the site tells Google not to store or use anything for ads.
- Render hosts the website and its sign-up service.
Some of these companies are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where your information leaves the UK, it is protected by the safeguards UK law requires.
Why we are allowed to
Your consent, for the email list and for analytics. Our legitimate interest in running a secure website, for server logs.
How long we keep it
Your email address stays until you leave the list. After that we keep only a note that it unsubscribed, so it isn’t emailed again. Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months. Server logs are kept for a short time and then deleted.
The Android app
The app shows this website, through Chrome, and adds two things of its own: the Bell, a reminder at random moments with your own words or a law you choose, and a Law of the day widget. It has no account and collects nothing beyond what the website does as described here. It asks for one permission, to show notifications, and only if you turn the Bell on. The Bell’s settings, including your words, stay on your phone and are never sent to us. Chrome’s own privacy terms apply to Chrome. The app is published on Google Play by Platform Q Artificial Intelligence Limited (company number 16287383), which builds it for RSNG Limited. RSNG Limited remains responsible for your information.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop us using it. You can withdraw consent at any time. Write to stories@rsng.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
RSNG is written for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Practice
Do the work.
Short, plain exercises. Each one serves a law. Most take minutes a day. Pick one and start tonight.
