RSNG Coffee No. 01, The Foundation: a dark matt pouch with an ember number and a tasting line.
RSNG Coffee · No. 01

The first cup is the quiet one.

A washed Colombian for the hour before the day gets its hands on you.

Red apple, panela, a long clean finish. Roasted in the UK to order and posted through the letterbox, so it is on the counter when you come down. Grind it while the kettle runs. Drink it before the phone.

Inside every bag there is a card. One of the twenty-two laws, printed on thick stock, yours to keep or pass on. The coffee is the point. The card is the gift.

250 g · Huila, Colombia · Washed · Whole bean or ground

    The 22 Laws
    of Growth & Freedom

Twenty-two patterns, found in the lives of people who had to earn their ground. Read them slowly. Come back to one.

A man does not rise in one heroic moment. He rises by returning to the work after comfort, failure, resentment, fear, and distraction have all invited him to stop.

One slow, painful brick at a time.

    The Foundation

Washed Colombian. Red apple, panela, a long clean finish.

The first coffee in the range. A clean washed lot from Huila, roasted light to medium for clarity rather than weight, so it is as good black at six in the morning as it is with milk at ten. Roasted in the UK the week it ships, posted flat through the letterbox.

    A card in every bag

Thick uncoated card, one colour, one of the twenty-two laws on the front and the whole of it on the back. It comes stapled to the back of the bag and tears off clean. Keep it on the fridge. Give it to someone who needs it.

    Adam Bradshaw · Stuntman

He copied Jackie Chan from the treetops until the films came calling.

Free runner, skydiver and stunt double, he takes the window and the table so the star does not have to. Adam Bradshaw on training for the call that can come any day.

Asked how he became a stuntman in the first place:

I began copying Jackie Chan as kid, making fight scenes and jumping out of trees for fun. I started making little movies and as I got older I got into free running. We became one of the biggest teams in the UK and the world around 2005. In 2009 I received a call from someone who had a contact with the stunt people working on Harry Potter saying they needed free runners to chase after Harry Potter through the woods. I sent my stuff in and got the job. The rest is history. I’m super-grateful for the opportunity and because of that my career changed forever.

Asked how he trains inside and outside the gym:

Yes totally! Training is a huge part of my life. My week has daily training routines, which consist of weight training of all kinds, followed by martial arts, then gymnastics or free running in the evenings. I take my training and diet pretty seriously. I'll always try to maintain and be ready for when the phone goes.

Asked how he weighs the risk before a stunt:

Risk assessments are crucial to the stunts performed on set. Before any stunt happens it has been pre-planned, broken down and analysed so that the risk assessment can be written out, and everyone knows what the risks are and what to expect.
